Academic Warning, Probation and Suspension

Students are placed on Academic Warning or Probation when their academic progress is unsatisfactory. A list of students placed on Academic Warning and Academic Probation will be sent to the Counselors/Liaisons.

Students are placed on Academic Warning or Probation when their academic progress is unsatisfactory. A list of students placed on Academic Warning and Academic Probation will be sent to the Counselors/Liaisons to provide resources and support.

Any student whose cumulative grade point average (GPA) falls below a 2.00 for a semester will be placed on Academic Warning for the following semester.

Any student on Academic Warning whose cumulative grade point average remains below the retention requirement (2.00) will be placed on Academic Probation for the following semester. The student will be notified and encouraged to meet with a counselor. A student will remain on Academic Probation until they receive at least a 2.00 GPA.
